Government Primary Schools have vacancy for new
Headmaster. So Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has taken step to
fulfill this vacant position. This is the first appointment after being primary
teacher as 2d grade job. This appointment will complete by Bangladesh Public
Service Commission (BPSC). About 2,000 teachers will be able to get this offer.

Dr. Gyanendra Nath Biswas informed that, there have so many vacant positions
over the country. Everyday increasing this number. For this reason education
systems are being interrupting. Though Ministry was taken step to solve it but
failed. So now taken a step by BPSC.
It has been known that by Ministry of Primary and
Mass Education taken a step to find out how much vacant position are available.
This process will be complete in current month. Then BPSC will start next step
at November.
It has been know that by reliable source, 65% vacant
will fulfill by assistant teacher other 35% by new. If someone have 7 years
experience as a assistant teacher, graduation degree and certification in education
or diploma in education he/se can apply for this position.
Approximately 2000 thousand vacant position
Approximately 2000 thousand vacant position out of
63000 thousand government school around the country. Among them 15000 thousand
of school’s had vacant position last 1 or 2 years. On the basis of Zero vacant
junior teacher are playing the role of Headmasters.
It also known that appointment is being closed from
2009 in Government Primary Schools. It’s stopped by following a case which was applied
by a teacher. Before this duty was for to Ministry of Primary and Mass
Education.
It also known that, if this system will complete by
BPSC then assistant/junior teacher will no ability to apply for promotion. For
senior they may need to give Administrative and Divisional exam.
Dr. Gyanendra Nath Biswas informed that, by media Divisional
promotion which vacant will be fulfilled, for that a panel will be created. From
that if somewhere need a Headmaster then can be fulfill easily.
